HUMMER Blizzard in Big Bear, CA

This was the blizzard that was happening the weekend of March 17, 2012. There were cars (mostly Toyota Prius and Corollas) sliding off the road and into ditches and even one or two Jeeps stuck every now and then and we didn't get stuck once. The only incident we had was where our windshield wipers froze up (from a build up of ice) while we were driving at a temperature of about 15 degrees Fahrenheit. We had talked to some people about it and they said it didn't matter what the car was, they mostly will all freeze up at that temperature.

ABOVE: We wake up Saturday morning to
find nothing but our windshield wipers sticking out from the car.

HUMMER Off-Road Lake Elsinore, CA

The whole trail was just a fire access road that led all the way down to the basin.
It was very treacherous because in some parts of the trail, the path was completely
washed away by the rain. There are more photos below.

STUPID PEOPLE'S WARNING: This trail is DANGEROUS! YOU SHOULD NOT INTEND TO TRAVEL ON THIS TRAIL WITH A TOYOTA PRIUS! I would recommend only a Jeep with 4x4 capabilities, a HUMMER H1, H2, H3, or another off road capable truck such as a Ford Bronco.

LOCATION: This trail is located off of Ortega Highway leaving Lake Elsinore, on a dirt road that is named "Main Divide Road". You will see it right after you pass the sign that reads "Welcome to Cleveland National Forest Once you have found this road, turn right onto it, then the trail will be on the right. (You can ignore the Forest Adventure Pass sign, that is only for people heading towards the left.)
